Turkish Culinary team brings the second winner medal in Kremlin
In the Kremlin Culinary Cup held in Moscow between 3-6 October, Turkish Culinary team brought the second winner medal after the Japanese team. |

In the Kremlin Culinary Cup held in Moscow between 3-6 October, Turkish Culinary team brought the second winner medal after the Japanese team.
The captain Umit Yuksel:” This year there was different new categories. Our previous aim was to make some practice and adapt ourselves for the Olympic Games 2008. The result is the proof that we are ready. We got 1 classmen 1st Rank, 11 silver, 9 bronze medals and 2 certificates.”
The captain of the paff team Mehmet Uzunoz:”During the whole competition we spent 8 sleepless days in Russia. This success will not cause any lassitude before the Berlin competition. We will do our best to get the first place in Berlin.
250 Champion chefs from 24 countries participated to the Cup. The first 6 ranks;
1. Japan
2. Turkey
3. Holland
4. Italy
5. Russia
6. Denmark
The federation’s president Y.Yalcin Manav: “The conditions aware quite hard, the route btw the hotel and the competition place was of 2 hours, the traffic jam during the journey effected our team in a negative way but still their success is undeniably important. We wish to present our thanks to the Ministry of tourism, the directorate of promotion, our costume sponsor Omniteks, Sheraton Istanbul Maslak Hotel and Ramada Plaza Hotel who are always with us”.
